BRIGHT FUTURE FOUNDATION

bright skill development programmE

Under bright skill development programme, Bright runs a center that caters to the career needs of the underprivileged youth in the age group of 18-32 years. The aim of the program is to provide training to the unemployed youth in Basic English, Basic Computer Education and Soft Skills. This is to prepare them for their professional life. In other words, this program makes the underprivileged youth employable by teaching them Basic Computer Skills and increasing their English language ability.

The program is an effort towards bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the fast emerging services and retail sectors of the up growing market. After successfully finishing the program the beneficiaries become well adverse with English Proficiency, Basic Computer education and Soft skills which enhances their prospects of employment in the retail, hospitality and BPO sectors.

Under this program, we have a well-designed curriculum for teaching English to students. The program seeks to provide an atmosphere where students can learn and improve their listening, speaking and reading skills in English.

This program also includes a six-month computer course for the young persons in the age group of 18-32 years who live below poverty line. The course focuses on Basic Computer Education.

The objective of this course is to give relevant IT knowledge and skills to the underprivileged youth.

Bright lays special emphasis on Computer Education in its various learning centers. The purpose of education is to empower the children with the requisite tools to help them live a dignified life and make right decisions. Apart from the basic education, computer education is also very important considering the role that technology plays in our lives and is likely to play in the coming years. While no computer can replace a good teacher, it is not always possible to get good teachers for all schools, especially in the interior rural areas. This is where computer enabled education complements a teacher in a classroom. Computer also helps attract students to schools. As has been rightly said, “You bring computers to schools, you bring children to schools”. We are trying to facilitate the primary and secondary level of education by making computers available in schools for imparting education. Apart from that, we also use computers for adult education, vocational training and community services.

We offer a scholarship to every enrolled girl in order to encourage and enhance participation of girls in the program.

This program is very helpful for the young people as it gives them computer knowledge and enables them to get good employment.

Vocational Skill Programmes

This program is targeted at the economically disadvantaged youth in the 18-35 year age group. India has a large percentage of youth who have not been able to complete their formal education and also do not have the required vocational skills to be gainfully employed. Through Bright vocational centers basic training is being given like stitching, weaving, crafting, making clay pots and other clay items, and electrical fitting etc.
